The meeting of the committee was adjourned after the MPs objected that the minister was not present in the parliamentary committee. A meeting of the monitoring and evaluation committee on the implementation of state directive principles, policies and responsibilities was called at Singh Darbar on Sunday.

In the meeting, there was an agenda to discuss the current schedule of the construction of the federal parliament building under construction at Singha Durbar and the preparation of the ministry to ensure the implementation of the schedule. But after receiving information that Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh would not participate in the meeting, the MPs requested that the meeting not be held.

With the request of the committee members, the chairman of the committee Thakur Gayre postponed the meeting of the committee . Speaking at the meeting of the committee, Speaker Gayre said that despite the committee's instructions to send a written reply within three days regarding the progress of the Parliament building and the extension of three months, the ministry has failed to do so. He said that the ministry has not become accountable to the instructions given by the committee.

We instructed you to send a written reply within three days regarding the progress of the Parliament Building construction and the extension of three months. It took a long time to get that letter . After a nocturnal discussion in the speaker's office, the letter was finally received. This is also happening to the committee and to send replies to the letters sent by the committee . "Let the ministry be accountable to the instructions given by the committee," he said. Speaking at the meeting of the

committee, RPP MP Budhishan Tamang said that the ministry should give a clear answer as to why the deadline was extended. Why was the deadline extended for three months, on what basis was it extended? Why was the letter not sent within three days? A meeting has been called to ask the minister. This meeting should be adjourned as the minister is not present. The goal is that the mini-parliament should not make the government uncomfortable. "It is not good to start saying that the committee is nothing," he said. Speaking at the

committee meeting, Congress MP Devprasad Timalsena said that he must attend the meeting when called by the ministerial committee. He said that he would not send the reply to the letter given by the committee, he would not come when the minister was called, even if the committee was dismissed.  It means to keep the minister alone and talk. If the committee does not respond to the letter given, and the minister does not attend, why should this committee be kept or abolished? After saying 10 days ago, the minister should come . When the minister is called, the contractor should also be picked up," he said.

Maoist chief whip Hitraj Pandey opined that the government cannot hold parliamentary meetings without government representatives. He said that it is not a good practice to let the ministers go, no matter what they do. We will leave the ministers alone, how will that happen.... If the ministers don't come, let's adjourn them," he said.
