Dumbar Bahadur Sarki, who was camping in Kathmandu, suddenly reached Kerabari in Morang on Thursday evening. Reaching home with a dirty face, he urgently called a barber. Maila started Kazakiria by saying that her son Sujan had passed away.

After the father stayed in Kiriya, his son Sumit wrote a tribute with pictures on social media on Friday saying that his brother Sujan had died. Shortly after the tribute was posted, one of the Kuruas called from Bir Hospital in Kathmandu - 'Your brother is alive!' Why did you post on Facebook that you died?'  As soon as he got the

news, he was shocked. Staying at Babu Kiria because his brother is dead and getting the news that he is alive from the hospital! He was like falling from a cliff .

Kiriya looked at the sitting father . In a fit of anger, he told the news that his brother was alive. Father tried to leave. In the beginning, he claimed that he had performed the last rites himself. Later, after the news reached the police through the neighborhood, everything came to light .

When the police along with the people's representatives including the ward president of Kerabari rural municipality-8 Kamal Basnet, it was found out that Dumbar lied about his son's residence.

'When we went, he was sitting in Kiriya, we made him take off his white clothes after talking,' said Police Assistant Inspector Khagindra Tolange of the area police office, Kerabari, 'We agreed to send him to Kathmandu as well. We did . Now he is absconding .'

Sujan is now in ICU of Veer Hospital.

Sujan, who consumed poison inside the bus on Monday, was immediately taken to Manmohan Hospital by another staff, but as treatment was not possible there, he was taken to Veer Hospital.

By contacting Sujan's mobile phone, the same staff informed Babu Dumbar that his son was in the hospital. Then he went to Veer Hospital on Tuesday to meet his son. But leaving his unconscious son in the hospital, he went to Kerabari on Thursday, started Kazakiria saying that his son was dead and cremated.

'The hospital staff told him that his son had died and asked him to buy black plastic for the post-mortem, so he gave the plastic, then took the body and cremated it in Pashupati' . But when he found out that he was alive, he replied that he did so because there was no money for treatment, says Basnet.

Kazkiriya has started telling everyone at home that his son has died. Basnet told Kantipur that only after posting his son's tribute on Facebook the next day, his friend who was in the hospital informed that he was alive.

Dumbar has not been in touch since Friday night. Yesterday we agreed to go to Kathmandu. But they had a fight at home at night. This morning (Saturday), the family informed that they left the house and ran away during the night," said Dil Bahadur Rai, a member of the ward. He says that everyone has collected donations to send to Kathmandu. Sujan's sister and mother have left for Kathmandu.

Sister Sunita also said that she did not know why her father did such a thing . Talking to Kantipur, she said, "Suddenly, father came to the house saying that his brother had fallen and started doing kiriya". We only found out yesterday that my brother is alive . After that, the villagers have collected some amount together . When there is no one to look after the house, the elder brother is at home. My mother and I came here.'

She said that Sujan and her father had been fighting about citizenship since before. "But the father kept his anger to the point of claiming that his brother was dead while he was still alive. We believed him. But after we found out that my brother is alive, we are like falling from a cliff with our father's behavior. Local journalist Kisan Shahi informed the police and public representatives about the

incident. "Why don't you come to blackmail me instead of calling your living son dead," says Shahi, "Don't make me an owl, claiming that you have cremated your son's body yourself. Did not leave . Later, the police came and told about the incident. He used to say that the patient in the ICU after consuming poison would not survive and he did not have the money to pay for the treatment, so he left his son in the hospital and came home.

There were many quarrels between father and son. Last January, Sujan requested his father for citizenship. However, after not agreeing, he came to Kathmandu after fighting. After that, he started working as a co-driver of a bus running on the Dhading-Sitapaila route. After some time, father also came to Kathmandu. But because both of them did not speak, they camped in different places.

The Saraki family of Inaruwa Municipality-1 of Sunsari is currently living in Kerabari Rural Municipality-8 of Morang.
