Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that Nar Bahadur Kamarcharya, the founder of Nepal Communist Party, has always supported the communist movement based on correct ideas.

Addressing the musical program held here on Friday on the occasion of the birth centenary of the founding member of Nepal Communist Party, Karmacharya, President Dahal said that Karmacharya was a leader who was very simple, sincere, and unwavering towards revolutionary ideas.

Recalling that he had spent almost six years under the guardianship of the employees, President Dahal said that the people's war was started on the motivation of the employees. 'Karmacharya kept encouraging me to lead the people's war', Dahal said, 'I used to consult him frequently about the preparations for the people's war.' Folk music personalities Rayan, Jeevan Sharma, Shyam Tamot, Sharad Paudel, Ramakrishna Duwal, Kunta Sharma, Narendra Regmi and Haridev Thakur were honored. Similarly, Shahid Krishnasen Willing, Chun Gurung, Hari Darshandhari, Khushiram Pakhrin and JB Tuhure were honored posthumously. Leaders and workers of the Communist Party including Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of Integrated Samajwadi and Chairman of Pushpalal Memorial Foundation, Narayankaji Shrestha, Founder of Nar Bahadur Karmacharya Memorial Foundation participated in the
