MP Madhav Sapkota has objected that the Chief District Officer of Sindhupalchok has made Mohan Basnet, who has been suspended as an MP, as the chief guest after the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission filed a corruption case in the court.

MP Sapkota has also demanded that the Home Minister inform the Parliament about the matter.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, MP Sapkota said that the chief district officer of Sindhupalchok has made Mohan Basnet, who was suspended for the corruption of Teramox system, as the chief guest. Sapkota objected, "The person who has been sued in the court in the Teramox case and has been legally suspended from his post was invited as the chief guest by the chief district officer of Sindhupalchok by organizing a government event and wearing a red carpet and wearing a big garland and taking pictures with him and uploading them from the social media account of the district administration office," objected Sapkota.

The Chief District Officer of Sindhupalchok said that Parliament has also been devalued by saying that even the post of MP has been suspended due to a corruption case. 'This Parliament has suspended the public office . "Having a person who has been suspended and who is under trial as the chief guest in a government program is also a devaluing of the Parliament," he said, "What is the official opinion of the Ministry of Home Affairs on this matter?"

Stating that the district representative of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission will be the chief district officer, Sapkota said that the authority should also draw attention to the fact that Basnet was made the chief guest. He demanded that the National Vigilance Center and the Hello government should also look into this matter.

Sapkota said that even when the audio of the ministers asking for bribes was released and confirmed by the test, the resignation and investigation and action were the height of the scandal.
