The National Independent Party has objected to the fact that no action has been taken against the ministers involved in the bribery scandal. The RSVP, which has been obstructing and boycotting the Parliament for 48 days demanding an investigation into the visit visa issue, has also demanded an investigation into the bribery of ministers.
Raswap MP Vindabasini Kanshakar demanded action against the minister involved in the bribery case at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday. Speaking on behalf of the RSVP, she said that the case was closed by forcing the minister involved in the bribery scandal to resign. "Every day the news of corruption is coming like a TV serial," she said, "78 million scandals have been solved, the minister with 32 million is still here." Should there be investigation and action or not?'
Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta, who was involved in the bribery case, resigned and Lands Minister Balram Adhikari has also been accused of the same. He has not resigned.
MP Kanshakar said that there is a need for systemic reforms in the country. She said that a high-level committee or commission should be formed to investigate the case of visit visa. He also said that human trafficking was done through the visit visa at the United Nations program in Spain. "The corrupt and smugglers are not afraid of the government," she said, "There is evidence that even the United Nations conference in Spain was taken by fake participants, but the government does not see, hear, or communicate."
RASWP and RPP have boycotted the parliament meeting.
