General Minister of Nepali Congress Bishwa Prakash Sharma has warned that if CPN-UML does not withdraw the amendment on 'cooling off period' in the National Assembly, there will be a rift in the alliance.

General Minister Sharma gave this warning while addressing the program organized on the 43rd BP Memorial Day on Tuesday. He reminded that a committee of inquiry was unanimously formed to correct the mistake made by the House of Representatives regarding the cooling period and punish the culprits by the National Assembly.

Chief Minister Sharma said, "The subject of the cooling period passed by the State System Committee, an investigation committee has been formed through the Honorable Speaker, and those who are guilty should be punished." At the same time, we have unanimously appealed from the State Arrangements Committee, called for it to be corrected through the National Assembly.'

He warned that UML's efforts to remove the cooling period against the unanimous decision would lead to accidents.

Sharma also asked Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to respect the different views and opinions among the parties in the alliance. He also pointed out the need to seek a common opinion from the different opinions of the coalition parties when there is no consensus within the same party.

He said, 'There are two or three points of view even within the same party, so it is natural that now there is competition between the two parties Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, there is also cooperation, there are also different opinions, and a common opinion should be found among them.'

General Minister Sharma also clarified that Prime Minister Oli is in charge of finding a solution to the problems arising in the alliance.

'So at this time the honorable Prime Minister had to be appealed from here. The problem that is arising between us now, we have different opinions regarding two things,' he said, 'the solution of these two things, the Prime Minister should be serious by focusing on our request.'
