Two Chinese were arrested from a hotel in Thamel along with two kilos of gold and 2.4 million Nepalese rupees.
The team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Tan Chunlin and woman Zhou Suwei from Hotel Jiu Ding Yuan Bin Guan in Xantha on Monday night. Information officer of the
office, Superintendent of Police Kazikumar Acharya said that further investigation is underway against them. After the investigation, the office will submit them to the Revenue Investigation Department.
The police said that the two arrested are lovers and have been in Nepal for a month.
