The central committee meeting of the ruling party CPN-UML has started. The meeting started on Monday at the party central office Chasal.
In the meeting, Party President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will address current issues along with the concept of the political report to be presented in the Second Legislative Congress.
In addition, the discussion focused on the preparation of the second legislative convention to be held from 20th to 22nd of August, the proposal to amend the constitution approved by the Politburo meeting will be presented by Vice President Bishnu Prasad Paudel in the meeting of the Central Committee.
Likewise, regarding the organizational proposal to be presented in the legislative convention, the general secretary Shankar Pokharel has an agenda to inform the meeting about ward-centered campaign, membership renewal, vigilance campaign against regressive activities and convention of local committees.
It is said that information related to the preparation of the legislative convention and other management, which is in charge of the central office, will be presented in the meeting of the central committee. Besides, contemporary politics will also be discussed.
