MP and central member Padam Giri said that President Oli saved UML from many difficult situations in the past and brought UML to its current state. Central member Niraj Acharya said that even though former President Bhandari has the right to do politics, it is connected with moral questions. Another central member, Bishnu Rizal, said that since the president is a symbolic position, questions will arise if he returns to politics after retirement.
