Many people come to Bharatpur Hospital for vaccination against rabies. Dr. Krishna Prasad Poudel, Medical Superintendent (MESU) of the hospital said that 180 to 200 people are vaccinated daily.

But in recent days, there is a lack of rabies vaccine in the hospital. Poudel said that 400 vials of vaccine were received from the government last time at the hospital.

"With this much vaccine, even four days is not enough," said Mesu Dr. Poudel. He said that when the vaccine comes from the government agency of the union or state, they give it for free. When the vaccine is not available from the government agency, people buy it and bring the vaccine themselves. Mesu Poudel said that such a situation has happened many times in the hospital. The vaccine goes to the local hospitals and health centers from the Public Health Office.

We have managed 240 vials of rabies vaccine to be sent to the health centers of local bodies. There is a possibility that more vaccines will come from the province within a few days. Now the big problem is not solved. It has become an orderly forest," said Dinesh Rupakheti, head of the Chitwan Public Health Office. He said that Khairhani had a bit of a problem some time ago.
