Unity is being announced today between CPN Unified Samajwadi Party and CPN National Unity Campaign led by Vamdev Gautam. United Samajwadi Secretary Ganesh VK informed that a unity declaration meeting was held at the National Assembly House at 2 pm on Friday.
The top leaders of both the parties have already signed a memorandum of understanding for unity. It was approved by the meeting held on Thursday of Ekta Abhiyan.
There is uniformity in political philosophy, theory, program, strategy and direction of action and both parties theoretically agree to unite the communist movement of Nepal. Preparations for the unification between the Unified Socialists and the CPN Ekta National Campaign led by Vamdev Gautam have been completed. In 2077, both parties separated from the then Nepal Communist Party (UML) and were conducting separate political activities.
