Angel Fertility Clinic has expressed serious objection to the news published about the collection of eggs of minors under the age of 18, linking its clinic and staff.

The clinic said that it has drawn attention through a press release saying that misleading and baseless news has been published by linking them to the investigations conducted by the Nepal Police in other fertility clinics.  

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police is investigating five people including three doctors on the allegation that Hope Fertility and Diagnostic Pvt. Angel Fertility Clinic has completely rejected the allegations against its employees in the news about this incident and said in a statement, "We are not involved in any such illegal activities." The allegation that eggs were collected from underage women is very serious, but completely false and without facts.' 

Deputy Secretary Gopikrishna Regmi, head of the law branch of the Ministry of Health and Population, says that there is no law on egg and sperm collection in Nepal.
