Land Reforms and Property Office Bhaktapur land reform branch chief Kumar Acharya and office assistant Tikaram Raut were arrested by the Abuse of Authority investigation commission on Tuesday with bribe money. An amount of 24 lakh 50 thousand has also been recovered from Raut.
According to the authority, Raut was arrested red-handed from the office on Tuesday after taking a bribe to settle the Mohi Talsing case.
Two mobile devices have been recovered from Acharya of Udaipur and one mobile device from Raut of Bhaktapur.
According to the authority, they have taken bribe for 14 ropani 4 annas land in Mohi and Kattagari near Talsing in Bhaktapur Changunarayan Municipality to make the land rich in the name of Mohi.
