Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asked Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Rajkumar Gupta for an explanation regarding the release of audio related to bribe deals.
On Monday, Prime Minister Oli called Minister Gupti to the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar. After the audio of the financial transaction between Gupta and the middleman became public, the Prime Minister asked him for an explanation when there were demands for his dismissal.
According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the Prime Minister called Gupta and said, "What is the incident?" He has taken clarification about that. Regarding political appointments, Minister Gupta has also mentioned another minister against his dignity regarding transactions.
After his audio was released, the opposition parties demanded the dismissal of Minister Gupta.
