Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has directed an impartial investigation into the fact that people other than the government delegation went on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's visit to Spain.

The minister has instructed Home Secretary Gokarnamani Duwadi and Inspector General of Police Deepak Thapa to investigate the visit to Spain on Monday morning.

'Who went to Spain apart from the Prime Minister's delegation? I have instructed to investigate the matter through which legal process and which institution he visited Spain,' said the minister, 'Who arranged the visit visa to go? There will be an investigation on other matters.'

The Central Investigation Bureau of the Police and the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau will be deployed for a thorough investigation of the matter.  'Those found guilty in this matter will be prosecuted,' he said. Prime Minister Oli visited Spain on June 14.
