The flood of Bhotekoshi, which came through Tibet on Tuesday, swept away the Miteri bridge of the Rasuwagadhi crossing (Kerung) connecting Nepal-China. In addition to the damage to the dry port on the Nepal side, dozens of vehicles were washed away.
Similarly, 19 people including 6 Chinese are without contact. Electricity, road and telephone services are blocked in Rasuwa.
According to the Chinese news agency, 300 people, including Nepali citizens, have been moved to a safe place. 90 businessmen and Nepali workers, 46 locals, 61 construction workers and 2 tourists were rescued.
