The Department of Water and Meteorology, Flood Forecasting Division has pointed out that there is a possibility of flash floods in various rivers of the country and urged to be cautious. The weather forecast division has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of the country.
According to the division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly areas of other states including Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini . There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. In addition, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in some places of high hills and Himalayas . Similarly, it will be partly to mostly cloudy tonight across the country.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of hilly parts of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and some parts of other provinces . According to the Flood Forecast Division today The flow of small rivers flowing through Sindhupalchok, Kavrepalanchok, Makwanpur, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, Dolakha, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Tanahun, Syangja, Baglung, Parbat, Gulmi, Pyuthan, Arghakhanchi, Rupandehi and surrounding districts will increase significantly and there is a moderate risk of flash floods. It is said that there is a possibility.
Similarly, on Thursday, it is predicted that the flow may suddenly increase in some small rivers flowing through Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Likewise on Friday It is predicted that the flow may suddenly increase in some small rivers flowing through Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Flood Forecasting Division has asked for high vigilance in the activities of the riverside areas saying that there is a possibility of sudden floods in the small rivers that flow through most of the districts.
