Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has advised others not to raise the question of morality by the party workers who abuse the visit visa. The Home Minister asked a counter question when the Nepalese who went to a program in Spain attended by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli did not return when the RSVP was demanding an investigation into the misuse of visit visas.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, the minister wrote that Ravi Lamichhane, the Chairman of Raswappa, had taken US citizenship by using a visit visa and asked not to raise the entry of ethics now.

RSVP MP Sobita Gautam demanded to investigate the visit visas saying that some Nepalis had gone to the program in Spain attended by Prime Minister Oli and did not return. Opposing the statement of Raswapa, the minister wrote a counter question mentioning the incident of Lamichhane.

Home Minister writer said -

The Prime Minister went on a visit to the friendly country of Spain. It is being raised that the people who went with the honorable Prime Minister stayed there. We should also have minimum information and knowledge of any subject. At least in a respectable house, it is better to be very responsible and present the subject in a dignified manner.

When the Honorable Prime Minister visits a foreign country, the people who go to his delegation will go only after the decision of the Government of Nepal Cabinet. It becomes public that which person has gone abroad with the honorable Prime Minister. It would be easier for the government if you told them who had gone and who did not come back. If not, you will not get anywhere by tying the bridges of falsehood to such imaginations and assumptions. The friends who are raising the matter, I heard a crow, the friends who know what they heard may know and I also know. Honorable Ravi Lamichhaneji was a member of this honorable house. I heard that he once went to visit America on a visit visa. Going as a visitor is a visit visa. Did he go to America as a visitor or not? If not, what visa did you go to? Please let me know that. If you have gone on a visit visa, can you go on a visit visa and stay with the citizenship of that country or not? Is that a misuse of the visit visa or not? And the workers of the leader of the party who misused the visit visa, do they teach others more about morality or not? The question of ethics is to expect from others or initiate from yourself? I have not said this much till today. But friends are more inclined towards not doing it.
