Even though the Civil Immunity Party has withdrawn its support to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the Minister of State for Immunity Tourism has not resigned till Tuesday evening. The meeting of the Unmukti Parliamentary Party has withdrawn its support to the government and instructed the Minister of State Arun Kumar Chaudhary to resign.
On Sunday, Unmukti has registered the letter withdrawing its support to the Oli government at the Parliament Secretariat and the opposition has been sitting on the bench in the Parliament meeting. Unmukti Party President Ranjita Shrestha said that she did not know the reason for the delay while informing that the Minister of State Chaudhary had been instructed to resign on Monday as well.
"The party has also alerted the state minister Arunji to resign on Tuesday," she said, "the reason for not resigning was not known." She said that the protector of immunity Resham Chaudhary has also instructed the state minister Arun to resign. "The party has moved from the ruling party to the opposition bench," she said, "There is no dispute about the resignation of the state minister." Resham also met with Kamal Bahadur Shah, Chief Minister of the Far West Government. After Shah sacked Unmukti's Industry Tourism Forestry and Environment Minister Rameshwar Chaudhary, Unmukti left the government.
