Chungjung village of Lomanthang has been flooded for about an hour. Village Chairman Tasi Nharvu Gurung said that he received information that there was a sudden flood in the river and two or three bridges were swept away.
According to him, this river flows through Lomanthang and merges into Kaligandaki. He said that there is a need to be cautious around Kaligandaki.
He said that the Chungjung River passed through Ward No. 4, 1 and 2. On the telephone with Kantipur, he said, 'So far, no details of human casualties have been received.'
