The meeting of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee formed on the subject of changing the provision of 'cooling off period' in the Federal Civil Service Bill has started. In the presence of Speaker Devraj Ghimire, the meeting of the committee started at Parliament House New Baneshwar.

A 7-member special committee was formed on Monday to investigate the change in the provision of 'cooling off period' in the Federal Civil Service Bill. Congress MP Jeevan Pariyar is the coordinator of the committee.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the said committee in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday. The committee has been given 21 days time for the investigation. This committee has been given a mandate of 4 points.

The special committee to investigate the errors in the report of the Federal Civil Service Bill has 2/2 members from Nepali Congress and UML and 1/1 member from CPN (Maoist Centre), Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). The members of the

committee are Sushila Thing, Narayan Prasad Acharya and Ishwari Gharti from UML, Madhav Sapkota from Maoist Center, Ganesh Parajuli from RSVP and Roshan Karki from RPP.
