CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bertaula said that there is no problem between UML-Congress regarding the administration of the government.
He said that there is a seven-point agreement between the two parties for running the government, and he said that the government is moving forward by implementing the agreement.
Chief Whip Bertaula said this while talking to media persons at the Parliament Building premises on Monday. He reiterated that there is a strong understanding between the two parties and said that the process of other parties joining and leaving the government should be taken as a matter of course.
He mentioned that the two parties have reached the conclusion of amending the constitution and said that there should be a necessary discussion on what to amend. There is no problem between the two parties regarding the seven-point agreement. All things in the parliament should match both the subjective situation and the objective situation. Based on our personal circumstances, we stand for the fact that the Congress and UML should review the 10-year term of the parliament and amend the constitution," he said. "The two parties reaching this decision is the first step. Moreover, the work of amending the constitution will proceed at the appropriate time.'
He said that the government is committed to advance the process of constitutional amendment with the consent of all the parties at the appropriate time.
