Deputy General Secretary of CPN (Maoist Centre) Janardhan Sharma has said that the parliamentary committee meeting was boycotted as it violated the value of inclusive proportionality.
The Maoist Center boycotted the meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee held at Singha Darbar on Monday.
Speaking to the media while boycotting the meeting, he accused the Judicial Council of appointing judges against the values of the Constitution. According to him, the Maoists boycotted the meeting as no demand was addressed despite discussions with the Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasia.
Deputy Secretary General Sharma said, "The constitution that we have obtained through great sacrifice and sacrifice must be implemented." The essence of the constitution is inclusive equality and social justice. Everyone should follow it. This time, the value of inclusiveness has been violated when the Justice Council recommended it.'
He said that despite being qualified, potential people from oppressed communities are deprived of representation due to the quota being cleared.
