Chairman of Greater Janakpur Area Development Council Shital Shah Kirte has been arrested in the case. He was arrested by the Dhanusha police on Monday.
Dhanusha SP Narahari Regmi informed that Sah was arrested on charges of racketeering and forgery. According to him, the police are investigating him from the District Court Dhanusha with an extension of three days.
Sah, who was arrested, signed the letter of executive director of the council, Baijnath Paswan, and dismissed 4 employees. Paswan filed a complaint against Chairman Sah on March 28 at the District Police Office Dhanusha. He was arrested after the test report on the signature came from the forensic science laboratory.
The police took permission from the district court Dhanusha to arrest on May 25. Since then Shah was absconding. Shah had signed and dismissed Administrative Officer Jitendra Yadav, Accountant Savitri Giri, Nasudwaya Madan Chaudhary and Sanjay Mandal.
