Tribhuvan International Airport does not have smooth immigration facilities: MP Dhakal

UML MP Eknath Dhakal said that Tribhuvan International Airport does not have smooth immigration facilities.

MP Dhakal said that Nepal's first international airport has not yet been organized. In the meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives on Sunday, MP Dhakal said that there is a need for improvement in the immigration of Tribhuvan International Airport.

During the discussion on the Nepal Air Service Authority Bill, 2081, MP Dhakal said that the only continuously operating airport in Nepal is the Tribhuvan International Airport, but it has not been properly managed. Tribhuvan International Airport is the only continuously operating airport in Nepal. Regarding making it systematic, we have been raising our voices repeatedly in the meeting of the House of Representatives. But there is no feeling that the airport can be more organized,' MP Dhakal said, 'There is continuous carelessness here, the service users have to deal with delays, and there is no agile facility even in immigration. There is a situation where the luggage has to be stored for an hour and a half.

MP Dhakal claimed that foreign nationals are running away from coming to Nepal because of the airport. He said that facilities could not be provided to passengers at the airport.

He said that if foreign tourists visiting Nepal are not provided with the necessary service facilities at the airport, the country will collapse.
