The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has completed its provincial and district conventions. UML Election Commission Chairman Vijay Subba informed that 98 percent of local level committees, 90 percent of ward committees and 50 percent of toll committees have completed their sessions.
He said that the committee session was completed at the time determined by the party. According to him, 10 local level committee sessions are yet to be held. Similarly, the sessions of about six thousand wards of UML have ended.
Subba, the chairman of the commission, informed that the work of the 98 committees that are yet to be convened has been progressed as much as possible before the convention.
UML's Legislative Convention is scheduled from 20th to 22nd of August. The convention of 16 of the 23 mass organizations of the party has been completed.
