Laws should be in simple language that people can understand: MP Jwala

CPN (Unified Socialist) MP Prakash Jwala has said that the focus should be on the people while making laws. In the meeting of International Relations and Tourism Committee held at Singh Darbar on Sunday morning, MP Jwala, who is also a former minister, said that it would be better to write laws in simple language that people can understand.

'We have been making policies but not making laws according to the policy. In the world, the most attention should be given to making laws. Our attention should be focused on the people who receive the most services. It is better to write laws in simple language that people can understand.  "You cannot say that you don't understand the law, so you have to make people understand the law," he said.

Air service is considered to be the safest mode of transportation, but air service is unsafe in Nepal, according to MP Jwala. He said, 'Air service is considered to be the safest transport service. But in the case of Nepal, we are suffering because the air service is unsafe. Big events are happening. ICAO has also put us in the negative list. This is a serious matter.'

MP Jwala said that regulatory bodies and service-oriented bodies should not be kept under the umbrella of the same law. Today, the committee discussed the Nepal Air Service Authority Bill, 2081 with the amendments.
