'One or two friends of our party are working to increase the conflict. That is not good either. The way you are trying to bring the former president into controversy is not a good thing either.

UML Secretary Raghuveer Mahaseth has said that there is no truth in the rumors that former President Bidya Devi Bhandari is back in UML party politics and that she will challenge President KP Sharma Oli for the leadership. Mahaseth has claimed that he will proceed in the politics of UML with the guidance and consent of former President Bhandari Chairman Oli.

Secretary Mahaseth, who participated on behalf of the party in Bhandari's visit to China, said that there is no conflict between the former president and President Oli.

In a program held on Sunday in Janakpur, Mahaseth said that many questions were asked about the internal life of UML, but it was not true even though they were trying to create confusion between party president Oli and former president Bidya Devi Bhandari.  Mahaseth said that the fact that the

workers are scattered is just an illusion. "Now the way there is a market rumor, now the conflict between the party president KP Sharma Oli and former president Bidya Devi Bhandari is increasing, the workers are fighting each other . Daily news is coming in the media . There is no truth in that,' he said, 'There is no contradiction between us. If he comes into active politics, he comes with the consent and proposal of the president. Naturally, he was a senior leader of the party first.'

Mahaseth also said that the constitution did not stop the former president from returning to active politics. Our constitution does not prohibit the ex-president from joining active politics. Nor is it prohibited by our party constitution. It has also been discussed in our secretariat. If he wants to come into active politics, why should we stop him?', he said, 'one or two friends of our party are working to increase the conflict.' That's not good either . The way you are trying to bring the former president into controversy is not a good thing.'

Secretary Mahaseth said that he is not in any party but in the party. He also warned not to increase contradictions within the UML.
