Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that although there is some good in the country, not enough has been done. Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, he asked not to believe what someone said that danger has come to the country.
Similarly, the students have been advised not to believe those who say that the country has been ruined. He suggested to support or oppose only on the basis of study, analysis and review .
Thapa acknowledged that some good has been done in the country but the expected improvements have not been made, thanked for the good work and asked to question the shortcomings. He gave a message to the students that they should take responsibility for the future, "don't get tired, don't run away, don't give up".
General Minister Thapa said, 'No one should believe that there is a danger in this country. But don't believe that someone will come and say that this country is ruined. Neither is true. Some good has been done in this country, some good has not been done. Say thank you for a job well done, ask why it wasn't done as much as it should have been. Let me do the rest. Don't get tired, don't run away, don't swallow. Sit back, learn new things, question, be critical and have fun.'
He also said that he believes that the next generation will do better than him.
