Passengers have been stranded on the east-west highway in Daunne since the road was blocked for 9 hours. Since 1 pm in the afternoon, hundreds of vehicles have been stuck in traffic jams due to traffic jams near the Vishwakarma temple.

Passengers who reached Dumkibas at 1 in the afternoon and were going to Bardghat had to sit in the jam for 9 hours.

Ramesh Subedi of Sunwal, who was stuck in traffic jams, expressed his anger even when the country's main highway is jammed for 9/10 hours. Yadav Dhakal, Superintendent of Police of District Police Office East Nawalparasi, said that due to the fact that the vehicles could not go uphill and got stuck near Vishwakarma Mandir from Dumkibas, there was a jam and efforts were being made to clear it.

Passengers stuck in the traffic jam have complained of food, water and toilet problems.

There is a problem in the operation of vehicles going from east to west even though the vehicles coming from west to east are running. Passengers are stranded at night. Although some passengers have crossed the 14 km section of Daunne section on foot, children, old people and the disabled have to sit in the jam because of hunger.
