Tribhuvan University, which has been criticized for delaying the publication of the results, has significantly improved the deadline for publishing the results. From the academic session 2078 to the beginning of 2080, which spent 18 months in publishing the results, the Tertiary Examination Control Office has managed to publish the results within 3 to 5 months since 2081.

Commenting on the delay of the University, the Office of the Auditor General suggested improvements in the 62nd annual report. The report concluded that the delay in publishing the results has affected the academic session and job opportunities of lakhs of students.

The Accountant General said that it took 200 to 400 days after the exam to announce the results. The students were upset because of the delay in the exam results and the university was also criticized. Navindra Bhandari, head of examination control office, says that since 2081, the results have been published within 100 to 150 days.

According to him, the results of BBS second year exam involving 36 thousand students have been published in 102 days. Similarly, the result of B.Sc was announced within 100 days on 16 June. According to the office, the results of BBS 4th year exam in which 56,000 students participated were also announced in 132 days.

BA 4th year result has been released in 147 days. BEd result has been declared in 115 days. Bhandari claims that the results of the faculties, which have been stalled due to delay, will be published within 100 days in the coming days.

Registrar Kedar Prasad Rizal says that the result publication has been improved by the administrative reform of the Examination Control Office, the upgrading of the Regional Examination Control Office and the use of technology. We have started providing most of the services online. Employees have been given facilities, responsibilities and capacity building work. The collection and examination of answer sheets are done from the regional office, he says. Registrar Rizal says that the

examination system is about to be completely restructured. "We have streamlined the administrative structure, results have been published even in 73 days, now everyone's goal is to do it within 100 days," he says, "certificates have been printed from the campus." Showing the reason for the extreme delay and negligence of the examination control office, the vice-chancellors had been repeating their commitment to publish the examination results within 100 days of the examination. On October 27, 2080, the Tertiary Executive Council also decided to publish the exam results within 100 days of the exam.

It took one and a half years to publish the results of the Faculty of Humanities in the academic session 2077/078. BBS first year exam of the academic session in 2079 ended in May 2080 but after 400 days the result was announced in May 2081.

General Accounts report states that BBS 4th year results are published in 204 days, BBA 1st year 357 days, BEd 1st year 389 days. After delay in the results, loss of answer sheets and other carelessness, last year, the study and improvement suggestion task force was formed under the coordination of former registrar Chandramani Paudel.

With the improvement in result publication, the office has started providing all services online from this 15 June. According to Controller of Examination Pushparaj Joshi, 10 services can be obtained online. Earlier, the process of filling/filling the transcript application form, through online mode, has been going on since April. The service including online payment has also been tested. Joshi told
