Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has announced that she will not take any of the services provided by the government except security as the former head of state.

In a letter addressed to the Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs from his secretariat, it is mentioned that former President Bhandari has been instructed not to take any service facilities other than security with effect from today.

Former President Bhandari had been taking the services provided by the government as the former head of state after retiring after completing her term.
