Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that the unauthorized alteration of the Civil Service Bill, which has been unanimously passed in the Parliament, is a serious insult to the Parliament.
Responding through social media today, Dr. Koirala commented that this is not an ordinary matter but a heinous crime against the country, the people and the sovereign parliament. He demanded immediate action against those involved in this case.
Leader Koirala pointed out the need to remove the changed provisions and return the bill to its original state. Also, he said, without giving a 'cooling period', any further action based on this bill should be stopped immediately.
