Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey has said that the budget allocation for the next financial year has been prioritized for issues ranging from the protection of religious heritage to the reform of Nepal Airlines.

Answering the questions raised on the appropriation bill in the meeting of the National Assembly on Tuesday, Minister Pandey said that the budget has also been allocated for the maintenance and protection of mosques of historical and archeological importance.

'I would like to inform you that the work has been carried forward by prioritizing the management reform, increasing the number of aircrafts, etc. to transform Nepal Airlines into a competitive and professional organization. I would like to inform you that the work of tourism promotion is being done through Nepal Tourism, Board, Ministry, private sector diplomatic mission and Nepali diaspora,' he said.
