Two workers have died after falling from the fourth floor of a house under construction on Durbar Marg in Kathmandu.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Pradeshi Chaudhary of Kailali and 20-year-old Vishal Chaudhary of Bardia.

The incident took place on Monday around 5 pm in a 9-storey concrete house being built by Potla Development Pvt Ltd near Hitipokhari in Darbarmarg.

They were seriously injured when an iron scribble fell while applying grease while riding the elevator on the 4th floor and were taken to Veer Hospital for immediate treatment. Both were declared dead by the hospital at 5:10 p.m.
