Mahesh Bertaula, Chief Whip of CPN-UML, has said that the public's trust in the courts is weakening recently.

Speaking at the meeting of the parliamentary hearing committee on Monday, he said that the trust of the common people towards the court is about to be broken.

Judge Shantisingh Thapa proposed to the Supreme Court, what are your plans for this? asked. He said that citizens are raising questions about the role of judges.

He said, "In the last phase, the trust of common citizens towards the court has weakened. Not only is it weak, the trust is about to be broken. There are many reasons responsible for that, one of them is a serious question about the roles of judges. Their conduct, deviations in the administration of justice, these are the issues. Here's how to proceed so that these types of comments don't happen again tomorrow. How do you ensure that the victim gets justice?

Chief Whip Bertaula said that judges make decisions in order to protect themselves and avoid the crowd rather than the available facts and evidence.
