The meeting of the Central Working Committee of Nepali Congress is being held today. The meeting will decide on the future strategy of the party and the strengthening of the organization.
The meeting will be held today at 1 pm at the Congress central office in Sanepa. In relation to the preparation of the
meeting, the meeting of the party officials and ex-officers held at the residence of President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Saturday at Budhanilkanth has decided the 'agenda' of the meeting of the central working committee to be held from today.
Spokesman Prakasharan Mahat informed that the work of the coalition government, the situation of fraternal organizations and the distribution and renewal of active membership of the party will be discussed in the meeting.
Similarly, it is said that the ministers participating in the federal and state governments will inform the central working committee about the work of their respective areas. Spokesman Mahat said that the effectiveness and future strategy of the coalition government will also be discussed. He said that the meeting will decide on whether or not to extend the deadline of the ad hoc committee of the fraternal organizations that could not hold the convention at the specified time.
Similarly, General Minister Gagan Thapa has also planned to inform the meeting about the progress of active membership distribution of the party.
