In the school education bill, those who have studied other than the faculty of education will also be allowed to take the license exam. The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee meeting at Singhdabar on Sunday agreed to put such a provision in the bill.

Similarly, it has been agreed to include in the bill the provision that teachers must undergo refresher training every five years.

Committee Chairman Ammar Bahadur Thapa said that it was agreed that those who are not from the Faculty of Education will also be allowed to take the license exam. Now, anyone who has studied any subject to become a school teacher will be able to get a study permit. In the

bill, it is arranged to give the responsibility of refresher training to teachers to three levels of government. The school education bill will be presented to the parliament with a report today.

Currently, the discussion on child development staff is ongoing. Most of the MPs are of the opinion that child development workers should also be considered as teachers.
