Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has announced that she has returned to the active politics of CPN (UML) to fulfill the task of socio-economic transformation, happy people and a prosperous Nepal.
Speaking on the occasion of the 74th birth anniversary of public leader Madan Kumar Bhandari at the National Conference on 'Three Decades of Job' held in Kathmandu on Saturday, she said, 'There is no such thing as fatigue in politics. The welfare of the country and the people is my aim and goal.'
Former President Bhandari said that after being freed from different political responsibilities, she remained in the CPN (UML) and renewed her party membership with the aim of continuing the party's political journey. "Now I am rejoined as a member of the CPN (UML) family, and I am proud of it," she said.
