Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (UML) KP Sharma Oli has said that because UML is one block, no one can divide it. On the occasion of the 74th birth anniversary of public leader Madan Bhandari, he warned against dreaming of disintegration of the UML during the 'Jabajka Three Decades' program organized here today.
President Oli said, 'NCP (UML) is moving forward with success. In the past, the party was split under different names, but our party has moved forward with strength. UML is not a force that can be crushed by anyone.' He mentioned that UML is one and will remain one.
Prime Minister Oli urged the success of Mission-84 started by UML and said that the party is strong because CPN (UML) has imbibed Marxist thinking and multi-party democracy.
Prime Minister Oli said that the contribution made by people's leader Madan Bhandari to national politics and the guidelines given by him was a special period in the political development of Nepal. "When there was a terrible crisis on the left-wing and socialist movements in the world, the CPN (UML) under the leadership of Madan Bhandari put forward a new idea," he said. He has also mentioned that in the last three decades, the principles of Jawaz have been implemented.
Mentioning that Madan Bhandari has developed the idea of multi-party populism (jabaj) by advancing himself in a timely manner, Prime Minister Oli said that even today Nepal is moving ahead with the same idea. He said that although he formulated the law in the fifth convention of UML, the entire basis of it was made in the fourth convention.
'The Fourth Congress of UML made two extraordinary contributions to Nepal's political movement — the adoption of Jabaj's path and the decision to make Madan Bhandari the General Secretary,' he said.
Prime Minister Oli has also mentioned that the policy adopted by the fourth convention of UML has destroyed the panchayat system. "The policy adopted by the Fourth Congress led to the formation of the Left Front, the policy of cooperation with the Nepali Congress went ahead, as a result of the joint movement, the panchayat system collapsed in six months, and the autocratic monarchy became constitutional," he said. In the
program, Prime Minister Oli mentioned that he is going on an official visit to Spain today and said that after returning from there, he will inaugurate the road network connecting Humla headquarters to Simkot. 'A bridge has been built in Karnali, the bridge will be inaugurated after I return from Spain. After that, you can go to the headquarters of Humla by motor. Now none of the capitals of Nepal remain remote. This is also a success of Jabz,' he said.
He mentioned that UML is still in favor of the Mahakali Treaty and said that the agreement will be implemented. This agreement must be implemented. According to the same agreement, we have taken money for electricity and water. Even now we will bring more water from Dodhara-Chandni,' he said.
