Senior Vice President of UML Ishwar Pokharel has said that the argument that former President Vidya Bhandari should not enter politics is wrong because he is a political person. He said returning to politics would be the religion of the former president.

Speaking at the seminar on 'Three Decades of Job' organized by Madan Bhandari Foundation on Saturday, Pokharel said that it would be ridiculous to try to theorize that one should not enter politics. It is not a matter of former president coming/not coming. He represented the party in a strong system. After going there, he fulfilled a role. He is a political person, interested in politics. This is not an unethical thing," he said. "As far as what responsibility is to be taken, that is consulted with the president, consulted within the party. Why did you have to do so many kinds of tartar about it?' 

Pokhrel said that joining politics is the religion of the former president and said that politics cannot be forgotten. He grew up in the place where he was born. It cannot be forgotten. While going into politics, if you try to theorize what happened in the republic by opposing the monarchy, it will be ridiculous," he said. "We consult with everyone on the issue of responsibility.
