UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has claimed that Ravi Lamichhane, President of RSVP, suffered because of himself. Speaking at a program organized by the Party Pokhara Mahanagara Committee on the occasion of 74th Madan Jayanti on Saturday, he said that it is not fair to blame anyone because he went to the upper court and suffered when the lower court released him on bail.

If Khurukhur had followed the order of the lower court, he would have been released on bail. Choosing the one who knows, after going to the higher court, he suffered. Isn't that it?' he said.  He said that it is not correct to say that there was a conspiracy when he went to jail by misusing the money of the

cooperative. There was a conspiracy against me to take money, misuse it and so on. He said, "It was as if Ramkumari Jhankri was pulling Madhav Nepal's hand to take him to the Election Commission, and in the case of Ravi Lamichhane?" We have never seen such a scene.'  He claimed that the funds of the cooperative were taken to the company and embezzled. "Choosing those who know the campaign and running it." Do you not know the law that the money of the cooperative cannot be taken to the company? It is not the money of a collaboration, but to set up a company by taking the money of 6 cooperatives and embezzling the funds of the cooperative through that company,'' he added, 'if that company was also profitable, it could have been said to be for a good cause.' He said that a person who has many marriages cannot be an ideal person in Nepali society where one should be loyal to one marriage.
