Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that the Congress Party and its sister organizations can breathe a sigh of relief only if they are strong. Singh, who is leading the Congress in the government, has also claimed that the new political parties cannot do anything.
In a program organized by the Congress in Kathmandu on Friday, Singh said that what the new party said cannot be accepted. Singh also said that the old political parties have passed various stages of exams and come here.
Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that Congress should become stronger now. He said that we cannot be satisfied until the Congress is strong. "Only if the Congress Party, the fraternal organizations of the Congress Party, and the favorable organizations of the Congress Party are strong, we can breathe a sigh of relief." If not, it will be very awkward,' he said, 'We should proceed with a good understanding of the time and situation. The Congress party, which was established in 2003, succeeded in bringing such a change. Even now, people ask, what will the newly born party do if they say that the Congress party did not do what it should? Nothing happened in the test. We have gone to the people many times and passed the test.'
Singh also said that ignoring the party that fought for the rights of the people, it is not reasonable to expect them to do something because they did not participate in any movement. "They often question the party that has passed the exam and they say that nothing happened in the exam. If they only talk about it here, where will the country go?" How rational is it to ignore the party that was founded in 2003 and fight for the rights of the people and hope that something will happen from those who have done nothing ? It is important to think about it.'
Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that everyone should be listened to, but what is in the interest of the people and what the people want should be done . He said that it is important to move forward with long-term benefits for the people.
