Madhav Kumar Nepal, president of United Samajwadi Party, has indicated that he will not leave his post even if a case has been filed against him in the Patanjali land case of Kavre. In this case, the special court released Nepal on 3.5 million bail.

Samajwadi has concluded that there is a conspiracy to end the party by filing a case against Nepal by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. After the case was filed against him, when there were comments that he should leave the post of chairman on the basis of ethics, the leaders who spoke at the meeting of officials claimed that the case was filed against the party.

Speaking at the secretariat meeting that started on Friday, Nepal had mentioned that he had done nothing wrong in the Patanjali land case and claimed that it was a conspiracy against the entire party. "I have not made a mistake. Prejudice has charged. This is a conspiracy against the party," said Nepal.  The leaders who spoke at the

meeting said that under the pressure of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission, they tried to finish the Unified Socialists by suing President Nepal. "The case has been brought directly to seek revenge with prejudice. This is not a matter within the party. No question has been raised within the party about the chairman. "There is no doubt," Vice President Beduram Bhusal said, "How will it work if you leave the responsibility as soon as the case is filed?"

Samajwadi's "respected" leader Jhalnath Khanal said that discussions are going on within the party regarding the case against President Nepal. "After the case against President Madhav Nepalji, the question has been raised outside," he said. What does the leadership do when the question arises? It remains to be seen.

Samajwadi spokesperson Jaganath Khatiwada said that even though a case has been filed against President Nepal, the party should be more united. "They are trying to finish Samajwadi by suing Madhav Nepal," he said, "This is against the party." The leaders said that there should be an unprecedented unity within the party.'' In the

meeting, 10 leaders expressed their opinions.
