Rashtriya Prajatantra Party has objected to the committee formed by the government to investigate the visit visa case.
Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting held on Tuesday, RPP chief whip Gyan Bahadur Shahi expressed objection to the inquiry committee. He said that there have been 14 Home Ministers in 18 years, and he has made a comment about the need to bring all of them under investigation.
He said, 'The problem cannot be solved by keeping a cat as a witness for milk, the committee made up of the same people who should be investigated will not establish the rule of law.'
He has claimed that the inquiry committee formed by the government is a new propaganda to cover up the crime and exonerate the 14 home ministers involved in the visit visa case. He has said that RPP will unite on the streets and in the House against such a scenario of the government.
He said, 'There have been 14 Home Ministers in these 18 years. These 14 Home Ministers should be brought under investigation. But now milk witness cat. Will the problem be solved by having a cat as a witness of milk? I don't think that the investigation committee formed by the people against whom the investigation should be done now will establish the rule of law. This is the new propaganda brought about how to exonerate the 14 Home Ministers involved in the visit visa case, to cover up more crimes in the near future. RPP unites on the streets and in the House against this propaganda. This investigation committee cannot give justice.'
He said that this is a process of selling people and also requested that this issue should not be dismissed based on numbers.
