I tolerate criticism, insults, opposition, but insulting the constitution cannot be tolerated: Prime Minister

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that martyrs, sacrifices of martyrs, insulting the system and the constitution will not be tolerated. Prime Minister Oli said that insulting the Constitution is not acceptable while answering the questions raised by the MPs on the Appropriation Bill at the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister said that personal criticism, insults and insults are acceptable, but insults to the Constitution are not acceptable. He said that insults to the constitution and system cannot be tolerated in the parliament.

The Prime Minister also said that opposition to the constitution and system in the parliament should not be tolerated. "It is the duty of the government to protect this system, the constitution, develop and govern the country with effective implementation of the constitution, there will be no compromise on this matter," he said, "I tolerate anyone criticizing, abusing, opposing me, but insulting the martyrs, insulting the sacrifices given by the martyrs, insulting the past struggles and sacrifices, insulting the system, insulting the constitution, this cannot be tolerated."

The Prime Minister also said that Parliament should not tolerate insulting the constitution and the system. 'Parliament is a place to act from within the system . "Parliament should not be the place to make fun of sacrifices, contrary to the system, contrary to the constitution, not obeying the law, and doing whatever they can," Prime Minister Oli said.

Prime Minister Oli also said that Nepalese people have struggled to bring the constitution and if there are weaknesses in it, it can be amended. "We have brought the current constitution after a great struggle. If there are shortcomings, let's amend the constitution to strengthen this system and strengthen democracy where practice has shown. "Let's amend the constitution to advance development and unite the country," he said, "but not to divide the country psychologically." Let's revise the constitution to maintain national unity, strengthen democracy, and strengthen the constitution.'
