National Independent Party MPs Sobita Gautam and Hari Dhakal have met the former Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu. While on a visit to India, MPs Gautam and Dhakal met former Vice President of India Naidu on Sunday.
Former Vice President of India Naidu is leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. The two members of Parliament of the RSVP met with Naidu on Sunday when they went to India to participate in the Karnataka State Committee declaration meeting under Pravasi Nepali Samak Mancha, India.
MP Gautam informed that the relationship between the people of Nepal and India was discussed in the
meeting. In the dialogue during the meeting, the situation and problems of Nepali expatriates in India, the various dimensions of Nepal-India relations and the need for long-term structured coordination were at the center. On that occasion, we also briefed about the basic vision, political objectives and campaign of the National Independent Party,' MP Gautam mentioned.
MP Gautam believes that the meeting will help in strengthening regional cooperation, mutual understanding and people-to-people relations.
Naidu was also the president of BJP from 2002 to 2004.
