Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has indicated that it will withdraw its support to the government. The meeting of the party central committee concluded that the government has failed completely and decided to reconsider the support given to the government. The party has instructed the parliamentary party to take necessary decisions in this regard.
Party spokesperson Manish Kumar Suman said that the central committee meeting held in Kathmandu on June 7 and 8 under the chairmanship of party president Upendra Yadav took such a decision.
Suman informed that the conclusion of the party meeting is that the current government under the leadership of KP Oli has completely failed to control corruption, guarantee good governance, amend the constitution, and improve the economic situation in the country. In the press release issued by the party, it is said - 'Jaspa Nepal Federal Parliamentary Party is instructed to reconsider the support given by the party to the current government in the past and make a decision.'
JSP Nepal has supported the Oli government from outside. There is no participation in the government. Jaspa has 5 MPs in the House of Representatives and 3 MPs in the National Assembly. Suman said that since the decision to support the government was made by the parliamentary party, the party instructed that further decisions should also be taken from there.
