Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has said that if the youth are confused, the pace of change and progress will slow down. Addressing the second full meeting of the Central Committee of the National Youth Association of Nepal today, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the youth should support right ideas and leadership, not individuals.

"Now the Youth Association has an extraordinary responsibility on its shoulders. The leadership of this committee will remain until the next local elections. The leadership of the association should make a complete plan for their tenure. Keep the new history. Let it work with extraordinary activity,'' President Oli said, 'Let it emerge as an organization committed to the policies of UML such as social justice, national interest, defense, good governance and scientific approach. There should be a plan that is clear in terms of ideology and strong in terms of organization, and when there is a need, there should be a plan that can protest in a combative manner in favor of the country and the party. Refute the misleading propaganda spread by the opposition. Follow the right path. Not after individuals.'

President Oli said that the youth should not be intolerant towards the person who can lead in the right way, and called upon them to gain efficiency and achieve new achievements in their field as it is the youth who do the innovative research in the world.

'If the youth moves on the right path, the country moves on the right path. If there is work to confuse or relax the youth, change and progress will proceed at a slow pace. We have to focus on how to advance the youth towards entrepreneurship,' he said. Sometimes he fails his test once in a while. When we did not get a proper leadership in the party, the movement got messy. Even after the passing of the People's Multi-Party Democracy (JABAJ), we did not get the right leadership immediately. When we got the right leadership, then we moved forward by making the party clear and strong.'
