UML MP Surya Bahadur Thapa, who is leading the government, has strongly criticized Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, who is leading the government from the Congress.

Thapa expressed his anger on Deputy Prime Minister Singh regarding the budget allocation of the Ministry of Urban Development. Thapa has also asked the Prime Minister to evaluate the ministers.

UML MP Thapa also objected that Deputy Prime Minister Singh and Congress ministers have forgotten that there is a joint government. MP Thapa objected saying that Urban Development Ministry has allocated the budget in a manner that insults Ganeshman Singh. "Do not plan the recommendation of the MP in the program of your ministry." MP Thapa's objection was that the Congress-led ministries did not accept plans of less than 30 million during the budget preparation. Plans of less than 3 crores should not be accepted.
